Role - Asset Servicing Lead
Role Summary
Lead asset servicing readiness for T+1 delivery, ensuring impacts to corporate actions, income, entitlements, controls, and operational processes are understood and implemented effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Lead analysis and delivery planning for asset servicing impacts across corporate actions, income processing, entitlements, reconciliations, and client servicing touchpoints.
- Translate T+1 business and operating model changes into actionable requirements, process updates, controls, and readiness activities for the asset servicing function.
- Coordinate testing, defect management, and operational preparedness activities affecting asset servicing workflows and downstream client outcomes.
- Develop runbooks, SOPs, training inputs, and Day 1 / Day 2 readiness materials to support implementation and stabilization.
- Work closely with transaction management, settlements, custody, and technology teams to ensure cross-functional dependency management.
- Analyse changes across custody, settlements, asset servicing, and transaction management workflows
- Support governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across workstream leadership and programme forums.
- Identify operational risks, exception scenarios, and control uplift opportunities arising from compressed settlement timelines.
- Produce clear operational documentation, support training preparation, and ensure user readiness
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in asset servicing, custody operations, securities services, or post-trade change delivery.
- Strong knowledge of corporate actions, income events, entitlements, and the operational implications of market timeline changes.
- Ability to analyse dependencies across FX, liquidity, and funding
- Experience leading analysis, testing support, and operational readiness activities within a transformation or regulatory programme.
- Ability to work with stakeholders across operations, business, and technology while maintaining high-quality documentation and traceability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail in fast-moving delivery environments.
Bonus Points For
- Exposure to T+1 / T+0 readiness, market deadlines, and operational resilience or controls enhancement initiatives.
- Experience with client communications, service-impact assessments, or workflow redesign in asset servicing operations.
- Consulting background with delivery across complex programmes.
- Exposure to workflow redesign, controls uplift, or operational risk assessments
- Track record of managing stakeholders and supporting sustainable transformation
Programme context: All roles sit within a T+1 change environment spanning securities services business analysis, operational readiness, and testing, with close dependency on custody, settlements, asset servicing, transaction management, FX, liquidity, and client funding considerations.
