Role - Asset Servicing BA

Role Summary

Support business analysis for asset servicing within a T+1 programme by documenting impacts, requirements, process changes, and readiness needs across servicing operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse business process impacts across corporate actions, income processing, entitlements, and related servicing workflows affected by T+1 change.
  • Execute operational readiness activities including runbooks, standard operating procedures, controls, exception workflows, and Day 1/Day 2 preparation
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements, user stories, process maps, and operational procedures in partnership with SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Support test preparation and execution activities, including scenario design, traceability, defect logging, and retesting coordination.
  • Produce high-quality documentation such as impact assessments, SOP updates, training materials, and meeting outputs.
  • Analyse changes across custody, settlements, asset servicing, and transaction management workflows
  • Track dependencies across settlements, transaction management, custody, and technology to ensure requirements are complete and actionable.
  • Assist with issue analysis, control considerations, and readiness reporting throughout delivery and implementation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in business analysis, securities services operations, or post-trade change initiatives.
  • Good knowledge of asset servicing processes, particularly corporate actions and income-related workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with requirement gathering, process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to analyse dependencies across FX, liquidity, and funding
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation
  • Comfort supporting testing and operational readiness activities in structured change environments.
  • Strong written communication, organisation, and analytical skills.

Bonus Points For

  • Exposure to T+1, T+0, or other market change initiatives.
  • Experience with workflow redesign, control analysis, market infrastructure change or process improvement in operations.
  • Consulting experience or experience working in cross-functional transformation teams.
  • Knowledge of global custody networks, pre-matching, fails management, or penalty regimes
  • Exposure to workflow redesign, controls uplift, or operational risk assessments
  • Track record of managing stakeholders and supporting sustainable transformation

 

Programme context: All roles sit within a T+1 change environment spanning securities services business analysis, operational readiness, and testing, with close dependency on custody, settlements, asset servicing, transaction management, FX, liquidity, and client funding considerations.
