We are seeking a Executive Director, Cybersecurity to lead and accelerate the next phase of growth for our Cybersecurity practice. This executive leadership role combines business leadership, market development, client advisory, and practice growth responsibilities. You will define our strategic vision for Cybersecurity and AI, expand executive-level client relationships, shape market-leading propositions, and drive significant revenue growth across our Financial Services portfolio.

As a senior leader within Capco, you will play a pivotal role in positioning the firm as a trusted advisor on cyber resilience, AI governance, and emerging technology risk while building and developing a high-performing consulting team.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for Capco's Cybersecurity practice, driving growth, market differentiation, and long-term business performance.
  • Build and expand C-suite and Board-level relationships across Financial Services organizations, serving as a trusted advisor on cyber risk, AI governance, resilience, and digital trust.
  • Lead business development efforts, owning significant revenue targets through pipeline generation, strategic pursuits, executive-level sales, and market expansion.
  • Shape and commercialize innovative Cybersecurity & AI offerings, alliances, thought leadership, and industry propositions that strengthen Capco's market position.
  • Develop and mentor senior consulting leaders while fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and delivery excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, Digital Resilience, or Information Security, including significant consulting experience.
  • Proven track record of building, scaling, and leading high-growth consulting practices with ownership of revenue, profitability, and strategic business objectives.
  • Extensive experience advising C-suite executives, Boards, and senior regulators on cybersecurity strategy, operational resilience, AI governance, and enterprise risk management.
  • Demonstrated success originating, leading, and closing large-scale consulting engagements and transformational programs within Financial Services.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, shape market conversations, and represent Capco externally.

  • Recognized industry profile demonstrated through speaking engagements, publications, industry forums, or participation in regulatory working groups.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships with technology vendors, cloud providers, or cybersecurity platforms.
  • Deep expertise in AI governance, GenAI risk management, AI security, or responsible AI frameworks.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks including NIST, FFIEC, ISO 27001, DORA, NYDFS, and emerging AI regulations.
  • Advanced degree and/or relevant industry certifications including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or cloud security certifications.

US Pay Range

$25,000 - $325,000 USD
