What success looks like
A successful Business Manager creates a business that feels joined up rather than siloed, with clear priorities, strong accountability and effective execution.
They ensure that sales ambition, client demand, workforce capacity, financial plans and operational execution are connected, even where delivery requires multiple teams, functions or regions to work together.
Business leaders have a clear view of performance, priorities and emerging risks; stakeholders understand their accountabilities and dependencies; regional and global teams work effectively towards shared goals; and decisions translate into action and measurable outcomes.
Success will be measured against a defined set of KPIs agreed with the relevant business leaders, reflecting the commercial, operational and people priorities of the business area.
