About the Role
We are looking for a System Architect who will be responsible for the architecture area of enterprise systems and applications. In this role, you will design and evolve technical architecture, recommend appropriate technologies and integration patterns, and collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to support the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the architecture area of enterprise systems and applications, ensuring scalability, security, resilience, and maintainability.
- Design and recommend appropriate technologies, architectural patterns, frameworks, and system components.
- Design system integrations, APIs, and data flows across enterprise platforms.
- Coordinate activities related to architecture across project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Review solution designs and implementations to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to address complex technical challenges and support technology-related decision-making.
- Collaborate with business, infrastructure, security, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Responsible for the enterprise architecture area, including contributing to architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and governance processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a System Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Software Engineer in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing integrations using APIs, messaging platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of modern application architectures, including microservices and cloud-native concepts.
- Experience working with enterprise-grade applications, databases, and middleware technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical issues.
- Experience collaborating with teams in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in Polish and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security architecture and regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
