About the role

CapIntel is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to shape the architecture, scalability, and performance of our platform. You’ll drive technical strategy and work across the stack to build high-quality, scalable solutions. Collaborating with designers, product managers, and developers, you’ll ensure a seamless, high-performing user experience while aligning development with business goals. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will be critical to the platform’s long-term success. What you'll do

• Architect and develop scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Express.js, and Node.js.
• Optimize performance and infrastructure through caching strategies, lazy loading, and efficient database queries.
• Foster technical growth and best practices among the team.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and seamless frontend-backend integration.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and implement comprehensive testing strategies (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align development with business and product goals.
• Continuously refine workflows by evaluating and implementing emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience as a full-stack developer, with expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, specifically React and Node.js.
• Experience working with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, Node.js).
• Deep understanding of backend architecture, API design, and enterprise-level integrations.
• Proven ability to mentor other developers and lead technical initiatives.
• Experience in writing comprehensive unit tests, ensuring the reliability and integrity of applications.
• Strong communication skills in explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda).
• Expertise in diagnosing and solving complex performance and system issues.
