LOCATION:
- This position will be located in our credit office in Lubbock, Texas.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in loan administration, or customer service in the financial services, mortgage, or title insurance industry; or experience deemed equivalent at the discretion of Capital Farm Credit.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for loan administration, content management, credit servicing action support. Support loan servicing efforts by providing thorough and knowledgeable customer service via telephone conversations and/or electronic forms of communication. Facilitates external parties and internal departments involved in the customer and loan relationship.
- This position handles routine, repetitive transactions and customer requests that are simple to moderately complex. The incumbent will demonstrate foundational knowledge of the core skills and functions in loan administration, loan accounting, and customer service; and will navigate supporting information systems with limited oversight. Will be knowledgeable of CFC product lines and communicate servicing status updates with customers in detail.
FUNCTIONS:
- Provides excellent customer service on a consistent basis by answering customer inquiries by phone or email and facilitating communications between internal departments and external parties. Researches and resolves issues with limited assistance.
- Conducts appropriate searches within various systems for loan termination data, initial lien filing data, subsequent lien filings and impact of such to initial lien, and collateral lien position.
- Enters pertinent loan data into loan origination system for release of lien credit servicing actions for all terminated, real estate secured loans in the Association. Submits servicing action file to the Document Preparation Department. Reviews documents for accuracy and completeness. Communicates with internal or external parties on additional needs. Files documents in electronic repository in accordance with procedures.
- Submits releases for recording in the county using electronic means where possible or mails releases to title company/county for recording based on customer needs. Requests checks for county filing fees from Accounts Payable as needed.
- Ensures proper recording of release of lien in county records. Prepares communication to accompany documents returned to customer post-termination.
- Assists with various projects associated with loan servicing, lien verification, and system conversion including collateral record cleanup, compliance monitoring records cleanup, property tax verification, and borrower contact information updates.
- Maintains knowledge of, and assists with, ensuring compliance with required procedures, policies, processes, internal controls, and regulations with an ability to research and apply them with some oversight.
- Maintains foundational knowledge of multiple systems and programs and demonstrates the ability to use CFC programs and systems used in lending.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Computer systems and equipment used for file management, file classification practices, and retrieval of business information
- Documentation requirements for deeds of trust, UCC financing statements, and other collateral documents
- Professional oral and written correspondence principles
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications
