🏡🏢This is a Hybrid role, the Credit Underwriting team work from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 3 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing
Underwriters are at the heart of Capital on Tap as they allow us to grow our portfolio whilst keeping bad debt within appetite.

✨Review lending applications and financial data for decisions.
✨Performing credit reviews on our back book customers
✨Helping to facilitate change in underwriting strategy and structure
✨Interacting with internal teams for credit decisions
✨Facilitating Risk initiatives and pilots by reviewing credit data
✨Conducting periodic reviews of individual bad debts

We’re Looking For
✨1+ years’ underwriting experience with a minimum of 6 months’ mandate (secured or unsecured)
✨A broad understanding of how businesses operate
✨Demonstrate best practises in Responsible Lending
✨You’ve already worked in a fintech or for a high-growth business
✨An ability to work autonomously
✨An ability to use an analytical approach to problem-solving

🤝Interview Process:
🤝First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
🤝Second stage: 30 minute CV overview with Team Manager (Video call)
🤝Final stage: 2 hour technical assessment and meet and greet the team (with future peer and Department Lead) (In person)
