🏡🏢This is a Hybrid role, the Collections team work from our Manchester Offices 3 days per week. You’ll be expected to work from the office full time for your first 6 weeks while you complete your onboarding and training.
Shifts
You’ll work 37.5 hrs a week between 8am-8pm Monday-Friday. The shifts are:
8am-4:30pm
9am-5:30pm
11:30am-8pm (one week in every 4 with option to work fully remote that week)
What You’ll Be Doing ✨
You’ll be the escalation point for not just high-value/ complex accounts but also the bankruptcy process, global deceased process and further internal collections processes. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payment issues and minimise bad debt.
- Contacting high-risk customers in arrears through various channels, including phone calls, emails and written correspondence.
- Maintain a professional and empathetic communication style to understand customers’ financial situations and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes in collaboration with relevant internal departments, such as chargebacks, and disputes/ prod ops.
- Take ownership over processes such as Bankruptcy/ Business Insolvency/ Deceased, etc to ensure we provide accurate and timely information to our customers and the business.
- Creating/ managing workflows and meeting SLAs.
- Handle the queries on the floor from agents and have the flexibility to manage this as a team to ensure equal opportunities are provided to handle the floor. Also, to ensure this is communicated clearly not just amongst your team but the wider department too.
We’re Looking For ✨
- Experience within a Collections within financial services
- Track record of delivering against target KPIs consistently
- The ability to prioritise your work to provide the best outcomes for the department and business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to change.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Interview Process 🤝
- First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
- Final stage: 60 minute experience and skills assessment with Senior Team Leader (In Person)
