Business Development at Capital on Tap 🚀

Our Sales team drives our growth, with hubs in Brighton, London, Manchester, and remote. As a Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of 8-12 Business Development Managers, focusing on coaching and developing individuals to reach high-performance. You’ll drive sales strategy and team success, scaling our department through hands-on mentorship and high-energy leadership. 

What You'll Be Doing 🗃️

  • Lead and coach a team of 8–12 BDMs through consistent mentorship and development.
  • Drive high-performance by managing sales pipelines and analysing team effectiveness.
  • Align team targets and KPIs with broader business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to share best practices and optimize sales processes.
  • Partner with the Head of Sales to develop and execute winning regional strategies.
  • Work with the People Team to source, interview, and onboard top-tier sales talent.

We’re Looking For 🔎

  • Strong background in outbound B2B business development and prospecting.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage funnel and performance analytics.
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and drive high-performance.
  • Track record of coaching and mentoring junior team members to success.
  • Results-driven commercial mindset focused on business growth.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead by example in telesales.

Interview Process 🤝

  • First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner.
  • Second stage: 30 minute video call with our Head of Sales. 
  • Final stage: Case study presentation interview at the office and meet with our People Partner and CCO.
