What You’ll Be Doing
We're looking for a Senior Fraud Analyst to join our Fraud team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role - you'll take direct responsibility for our fraud systems end-to-end, from onboarding fraud through to card fraud, and play a central part in building the capabilities we need as we launch new products.
You won't be coordinating. You'll be doing.
- Owning and managing our card fraud systems, including day-to-day management of our card issuer fraud platform and the data that powers it.
- Building and optimising fraud detection rules across our onboarding fraud systems.
- Working with external data vendors to evaluate new tools and data sources, with a view to continuously improving our fraud controls.
- Supporting the launch of new products, including faster payment capabilities, and ensuring fraud systems are in place ahead of go-live.
- Analysing fraud patterns and presenting findings to stakeholders across Operations, Credit, and Senior Management.
We’re Looking For 🔎
- Direct experience working in card fraud - ideally within a bank, card issuer, or fintech operating on the issuing side.
- Hands-on familiarity with card fraud systems and the data that comes with them (Visa fraud platforms, CNP fraud, 3DS/SCA, PSD2 compliance)
- Experience with APP fraud or faster payment fraud systems is a strong bonus.
- Highly proficient in SQL - you're comfortable writing complex queries independently and using data to drive decisions.
- A doer mindset - you should be comfortable getting stuck in, building from the ground up, and owning outcomes without a lot of structure around you.
- Strong communication skills - able to explain fraud logic clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- 2.1 or above at degree level, preferably in Economics or STEM subject.
