Graphics and Digital Product Designer

The Graphics and Digital Product Designer will help teams across Capstone create cutting-edge visuals that tell clear, engaging, and compelling stories about how policy and regulation will impact business and investment strategies. They will work within Capstone’s Content Strategy team, which is responsible for ensuring Capstone’s products and marketing materials are deeply eye catching, accurate, high-value, and easy to understand. The ideal candidate has an excellent eye for design, can help execute the content team’s ideas for graphics and digital products that create a superior client experience, is comfortable working and collaborating under tight deadlines, and is passionate about leaving a mark on a fast-growing brand and helping us take our look and feel to the next level. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, strategic, and proactive—they will contribute new ideas to create memorable interactions with Capstone’s brand and products.

The person in this role will also have the opportunity to formalize Capstone’s visual brand guidelines and processes for well-designed client deliverables. The ideal candidate will use customer personas and data to communicate the impact of their deliverables.

Capstone is a US-based strategy and consulting firm with offices across the US, Europe, and India. The ideal candidate will be skilled in communicating across time zones and willing to learn about relevant topics including finance and policy.

This role will be based in Mumbai, working hours will be 12 PM IST - 8:30 PM IST

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design print and digital materials such as magazine-style reports, social media graphics, interactive data visualizations, presentations, email marketing campaigns, and more
  • Design and develop client web portal and digital products (e.g., data visualizations, report library)
  • Collaborate with a variety of experts in the organization to develop visuals that help tell complex stories

Qualifications

  • Degree in a design-related field such as graphic design, digital design, communication design, or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years of design experience in-house or with an agency
  • Updated design portfolio
  • Interest in international and US policy and finance is a plus

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate design theories and techniques that make a deliverable achieve a business objective
  • Ability to communicate fluently in an all-English business environment with a firm grasp of spelling and grammar
  • Experience with the following tools, or similar: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign or comparable alternatives; WordPress; Tableau, Microsoft Office Programs
  • Experience with responsive email design using HTML, CSS and website and UX design
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and platforms, including LinkedIn
