Overview:

The Investor Relations team services Capstone’s primarily institutional client base. The team is responsible for maintaining marketing materials and reporting items, coordinating calls and meetings with clients, and catering to the firm’s investors. Team members work in coordination with various departments across the firm including Client Service, Product Development, Communications, and various Investment and Operations teams. 

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Assist the team with delivering first class service to Capstone’s primarily institutional investor and prospect base
  • Work closely with team members and develop relationships across Risk, Treasury, Compliance and other departments to complete standardized and ad hoc reporting through Excel, VBA and Tableau
  • Maintain and update Capstone’s client relationship management system (Backstop) with all connectivity and email correspondences
  • Maintain firm wide marketing materials and presentation management software
  • Assist with the completion of Due Diligence Questionnaire requests from investors
  • Receive exposure to the Solutions trading team and assist with the creation of custom analysis on behalf of current investors and prospects
  • Develop strong product, strategy and industry knowledge

The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious self-starter, who wants to develop skills in a fast-paced environment, has the ability to be proactive, responsive and multi-task efficiently, and a desire to create relationships across Capstone through collaborative work with the firm’s Investment, Technology, Operations, Finance and other teams. The candidate should be humble, results-oriented and have the flexibility to adapt to quickly changing circumstances and priorities. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary for success in this role.

Our future colleague has these skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-3 years of financial services experience preferred
  • Strong Computer / Analytical skills. CRM experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in VBA, SQL and Tableau preferred
  • Motivated and proactive. Able to work independently within a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize among many time-sensitive demands

The applicable base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 USD. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
