Overview:

The CIO platform team is responsible for developing and maintaining the firm wide Technology stack that our investment and support teams rely on to deliver outstanding returns to our clients.  We’re looking for a highly motivated business analyst with a passion for technology and markets.  You’ll partner with teams across the firm to help deliver cutting-edge solutions to interesting problems. 

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, a collaborative mentality, and an ability to bring innovative ideas to life. The role offers great exposure to the many varied areas of the hedge fund. To thrive at Capstone, a keen curiosity about technology and artificial intelligence is essential, as we continuously drive innovation and enhance our strategic capabilities.

 

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Work with various business areas such as operations, treasury, investor relations and fund accounting to identify problems and determine the best solutions for our firm
  • Write and maintain project documentation including requirements and processes
  • Ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date through regular and clear communication
  • Responsibility for ensuring excellent standards maintained within the project tracking software
  • Building strong relationships with key partners across the firm—ensuring their business requirements are understood and raising issues where necessary

 

Our future colleague has these skills:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to manage projects, timelines, and deliverables efficiently
  • Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly
  • Experience working with at least one financial asset class
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team player with strong verbal communication skills and experience working with stakeholders
  • 3+ years working experience in the financial industry (buy or sell side)

Bonus Skills:

  • Expert in JIRA
  • Holds a project management qualification
  • Experience with KPIs

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
