Overview:
We are looking for a Middle Office Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for a broad scope of trade support functions and managing the trade lifecycle in a fast-paced environment. You will work very closely with the Portfolio Management team and must be able to handle multiple queries from the trading desk at any given time. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for finance and a view to leverage technology to streamline processes and minimize manual tasks
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Manage trade capture of all products including but not limited to derivatives across equities, credit, rates, and FX
- Assist PM in monitoring risk platforms and troubleshoot any issues
- Monitor affirmation platforms and ensure all risk/booking is correct
- Work closely with Sales counterparts and Operations to ensure trades are allocated and settled
- Manage affirmation of trades on matching platforms
- Evaluate existing processes with a view to using technology to enhance and improve all manual aspects.
- Working with members of the wider Operations team to build out more automation
Our future colleague has these skills:
- At least a year’s experience in a finance environment.
- Working knowledge of convertible bonds, credit, equities, and equity options
- Experienced and confident in managing and processing all types of corporate actions; The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with counterparts to ensure the correct processing of corporate actions in a timely manner and will also be required to communicate back clearly and concisely to the desk the status of all such actions
- An interest and some experience with coding, ideally Python, is preferable.
- Strong familiarity with the trade lifecycle and relevant controls
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with a Bloomberg Terminal.
- Candidates should have a keen interest in process improvement

The applicable base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 USD. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
