Overview:
The Infrastructure team provides foundational technology, engineering, security, and support systems that power the innovative services at the heart of Capstone’s investment strategies. We’re looking for a highly motivated technologist driven to provide exemplary customer service in a global environment. You’ll partner with professionals across the firm to deliver cutting edge solutions to interesting problems.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, a collaborative mentality, and an ability to bring innovative ideas to life. The role offers great exposure to the many and varied areas of the hedge fund.
Our future colleague has these skills:
- Proven engineering and operations experience in a globally distributed hybrid technology infrastructure; 5 or more years working experience, ideally in the financial sector, centred in trading of equity, credit, and derivative products.
- Service-oriented mentality; focusing on exceptional responsiveness, accountability, timely completion of tasks, and teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Diligence in task tracking, documentation, cross-training, and information sharing to continuously improve technology service delivery.
Technology Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft identity platforms (Entra ID, Active Directory), infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, NAC, Certificate Services) and Microsoft 365.
- Capability in Windows systems engineering, operations, and maintenance (Group Policy, Intune, Ivanti EPM, Neurons); key focus on lifecycle management, security and reliability.
- Competent in administration of virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, Hyper V, Docker, Podman).
- Operations of data protection systems supporting backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery processes (Commvault, Rubrik, Zerto, Azure Site Recovery).
- Management of observability and alerting tools to ensure infrastructure performance, reliability, and security (Grafana Cloud, LogicMonitor, Elastic, OpsGenie).
- Proficient in process and task automation and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
- Experience in service management tools and best practices (ITIL, ITAM, ITSM) and IT Project management (Confluence, JIRA, JIRA Service Management, ServiceNow).
Bonus Skills:
- Experience architecting enterprise systems including storage, network, and computing.
- Experience in Linux administration (Red Hat).
- Proficient with multi-cloud computing platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (Google, Azure, AWS).

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
