Enterprise Account Executive

We’re currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Enterprise Account Executive to join our team and contribute to the continued success and growth of our SwipeSimple product. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be the first point of contact for prospect resellers and ISOs, understanding their business needs and effectively communicating our solutions to address those needs. You will be responsible for understanding their needs, presenting our software's value, building off of current portfolios and closing new, growth sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in working with key partners, selling enterprise software, payment acceptance, or other services to small-to-medium size businesses (SMBs), excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the payments industry.

The Enterprise Account Executive will report to our VP of Partnership. This is a full-time position. Individual’s in this role will work a schedule that will be dependent on business needs.

The position is location-neutral remote, with opportunities to get together as a company and team throughout the year.

What You’ll be Responsible for:

  • SwipeSimple Partner Sales: Understand SwipeSimple’s current position in the market and develop a sales strategy to establish distribution  with new partners
  • Creating New Business: Lead end-to-end communications with potential new resellers by building relationships, understanding the resellers operations and how SwipeSimple would be a great solution for their SMB portfolios, and providing product knowledge sessions for greater understanding of our value to their merchants.  
  • Enterprise Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for prospect resellers and ISOs, understanding their business needs and effectively communicating our solutions to address those needs. 
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations to prospective partners, showcasing the features and benefits of our software.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead qualification to closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for the customer.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with enterprise partners for SwipeSimple, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business objectives and customer feedback.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the payments space to effectively position our software.
  • Travel as required, based on the needs of the company. Travel could be 1-2x a month on average, but subject to industry conferences.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

  • Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in SMB software sales or the payments industry
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to build strong relationships with enterprise partners to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Our signature product, SwipeSimple, is used by 125,000+ small businesses across the country. SwipeSimple is a software solution that enables small businesses to accept payments seamlessly via phone, tablet or computer. SwipeSimple is sold through a partner network comprising financial institutions, merchant service providers, and independent sales organizations. The solution is also sold directly by CardFlight through SwipeSimple Connect.

The on track earnings for this role is $68,000-$78,000 per year, consisting of an annual base pay range for this role of $45,000-$55,000, and $18,000 of commissions at plan, paid monthly, and an annual target bonus of $5,000. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience and performance.
