Position Summary

Cardinal Point Capital Management, ULC dba Cardinal Point ("Cardinal Point"), a subsidiary of Focus Financial Partners, LLC and an affiliate of Focus Partners Wealth, LLC, is a wealth management firm that delivers personalized advice through a collaborative alliance of client-centric advisors.

On behalf Cardinal Point, we are looking for a Client Relationship Manager. 

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will also contribute to the team’s preparation of comprehensive financial planning models. You will assist in managing the efforts of third-party professionals such as accountants, legal professionals, insurance providers, and banking associates. This position may also requires the candidate to provide additional office manager support.  The role requires acute attention to detail, excellent time management, exemplary verbal and written skills and a penchant for problem solving. Relationship building skills are essential, as there will be frequent contact with the firm’s customers and suppliers. The ability to work in an independent environment is a critical aspect. The candidate should aspire to achieve the Certified Financial Planner designation. Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree.  Proficiency with Quicken, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WealthBox, Box, LastPass, Adobe, Teams are advantageous.

This role is based in Ontario. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Coordinating banking and cash flow activity;
  • Corresponding with external investment administrators;
  • Health insurance benefit submission and reconciliation;
  • Overseeing home and personal use asset purchases;
  • Aiding in the delivery of life, accident and sickness and general insurance policies;
  • Interacting with club payroll personnel; and,
  • Facilitating the preparation of income tax returns.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting customer needs in courteous and timely manner.
  • Written communication to clients and third-party professionals.
  • Serve as liaison between the wealth management team, portfolio managers and customers to improve customer service and business productivity.
  • Provide excellent customer service through phone, e-mail, text, etc. in timely and accurate manner.

  • Previous experience in a wealth management or financial services environment is a plus

This is an Exempt role. The annualized base pay for this role is CA$ 60,000 or 75,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
