About the Role

Samuel Family Cardiology is hiring a detailed Sonographer to join their team! You will independently perform professional-level assessments and a variety of non-invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology as appropriate and record the results and preliminary clinical impressions as indicated. The ideal candidate would understand the clinical scenario and independently adjust exams accordingly. You will be performing both echocardiogram and vascular studies. You will report to the Practice Manager and work out of both locations, Conroe, TX and Humble, TX.

Schedule:  Part time under 30 hours per week (must be available on Fridays, 8AM to 2PM)

What you'll do: 
• Perform all modalities of echocardiography imaging including 2D, M-Mode, Color flow, and continuous wave Doppler.
• Manage the process of uploading studies to a cloud-based system.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required:
Carotid Ultrasound
Lower Extremity Venous (DVT)
Arterial Lower Extremity

Nice to Have:
Lower Extremity Venous (With Reflux)
Arterial Lower Extremity (With ABI)
Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound 

What you'll have: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college education with 1 year of working experience preferred.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) -or- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • BLS/ACLS Certification and RVT certification required
  • Ability to perform both vascular and echocardiogram studies.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Preference to those candidates who have Vascular and Echo.
