About the Job
CardioOne is hiring a detail-oriented Practice Manager for its growing practice at Cardiac Associates of North Jersey. This dynamic and exciting leadership position is in a busy multi-specialty practice, and you will collaborate with the Regional Manager of Operations to manage the day-to-day operation of the clinic. You will have direct oversight over a multi-functional team of front desk staff, medical assistants, and ultra-sound technicians. This role is responsible for providing day to day operational leadership support and guidance across the practice. Occasional project work, cross-team coverage, and other responsibilities will be expected. You will work out of Oakland, NJ and report directly to the Regional Vice President of Operations.
What you’ll do:
- Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, provider/testing schedule optimization, and ensuring practice communication through meetings.
- Manage call center vendor services (business hours/after hours).
- Liaison between hospital call service and Providers.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient experience and ensure that payment-at-time-of-service metrics are met.
- Supervise front-end billing activities including prior authorizations and eligibility checks.
- Overseeing the day-to-day clinic setting.
- Develop and implement onboarding and training plans and protocols for new hires
- Understanding quality metrics and be able to implement and follow as needed.
- Identify areas of improvement around patient throughput and experience.
- Onsite HR functions including but not limited to employee coaching, mentoring, employee management, annual review, performance improvements and conflict resolution, payroll and time off approval.
- Optimize scheduling efficiencies to grow practice volume
- Collaborative with onsite department Leads to drive initiatives.
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills and effective communicator.
- Task prioritization and ability to delegate as needed.
- Timely actions on deliverables and communications.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
- 3+ years in healthcare in a clinic setting
- 2+ experience in practice management
- 1+ years of revenue cycle management experience and TOS service collections and patient billing resolution skills.
- Associate's degree or higher degree or equivalent work experience needed.
- Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong clinical knowledge of medications, procedures, and prior authorizations required.
- Knowledge of Athena EMR strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.
- Managing large practice of providers and staff.

Additional Information:
Full-time base salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 dependent on years of experience. You will receive medical, dental, and vision benefits along with a matching 401K.
