About the Job
At our rapidly growing practice, Cardiovascular Specialists of New England, we are seeking a highly motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our team! As the Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for helping the team deliver safe, age-appropriate patient care as part of the Intensive Cardiac Rehab Program. You will work collaboratively with the RNs, RDs and MDs to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes and quality care.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor and motivate patients as they perform their cardiac rehabilitative exercises.
- Customize and design exercise programs for cardiac rehab patients.
- Monitor patient health statistics: to include blood pressure, heart rates, EKGs.
- Track patient sessions completed and their progress through program.
- Ensure patients attend all ICR sessions. Follow up individually and motivate as- needed.
- Compile patient results for use by Medical Director.
- All other duties as assigned by Program and Medical Directors
What you’ll need:
- Expertise in the human body’s metabolic response to short- and long-term physical activity for ICR.
- Advanced knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, risk factor modification strategies, counseling techniques, and uses of behavior change programs and technologies in CR/SP services.
- Passion for helping patients improve their health, experience in fitness, and effective communication skills. Respect for the human body, highly motivational, able to provide reassurance and instill confidence in patients performing exercises.
- Excellent communication (both oral and written).
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office), interpersonal, and organization skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Certification in BLS. Prefer ACSM/CEP certification.
- Participation in Pritikin ICR Deep Dive, Remote Training, and Team Training (completed or upon hire)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in intensive cardiac rehab programs preferred.
Work Location:
You will work out of the Londonderry, New Hampshire office.

This role is full time with an hourly range of $25.00-$35.00. You will receive medical, dental, and vision benefits along with a matching 401K.
