About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing, to drive digital initiatives across our healthcare professional (HCP), Coordinator, and other target audiences. Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing, this role will be responsible for managing our digital ecosystem, including website management, analytics, and email marketing, to deliver meaningful engagement and measurable impact in a complex, fast-moving environment.

What you will Contribute

You will be the driving force behind how CareDx reaches and engages healthcare professionals, transplant center teams, and patients online. You will be a key part of the team that owns the performance of our digital ecosystem—enhancing website effectiveness, optimizing data-driven CRM campaigns, and delivering meaningful engagement through other digital channels. Success in this role is defined by measurable growth in digital reach, engagement, and conversion, achieved through collaboration, agility, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Website Strategy and Management

  • Lead website strategy, content management, and optimization to enhance user experience for both healthcare professionals, corporate and other target audiences.
  • Partner with IT, brand, corporate affairs, and agency teams to ensure the site aligns with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and accessibility standards.
  • Partner with Brand, Corporate, medical, and operational teams to create and maintain compelling content that will drive engagement of our target audiences.
  • Stay ahead of digital marketing and content trends, translating insights into fresh ideas and strategic opportunities.
  • Define, implement, and manage the website content authoring, required approvals and other operational processes to drive speed, efficiency, and accuracy of content.
  • Create and manage the content calendar for Caredx.com to ensure timely updating content on our websites.
  • Manage our content management system to ensure it meets the needs of the business, content remains compliant, and necessary audit requirements can be fulfilled.

Email Marketing & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Design multi-channel customer lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging to deliver high-impact marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee email campaigns from concept through deployment and measurement, ensuring best practices in segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content and messaging across digital touchpoints.

Digital Analytics, optimization, and Performance

  • Establish, manage, and disseminate key digital KPIs, dashboards, and reports to monitor performance across channels.
  • Use analytics and insights to optimize website performance, email and other digital marketing campaigns and audience engagement.
  • Implement a program of multivariate testing to identify the most effective content and digital marketing strategies.

Project Management & Operational Excellence

  • Manage multiple digital marketing projects concurrently, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Drive operational excellence by streamlining workflows and ensuring consistent, high-quality campaign delivery.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR), IT) and external agencies to deliver seamless digital experiences.
  • Provide leadership in creating scalable processes and fostering a culture of agility and innovation.

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Overall 8+ years of related experience including 5+ years of experience in marketing automation and digital marketing. Experience in healthcare and/or diagnostics a plus. Experience in a regulated environment, i.e., HIPAA, financial services. Preferred but not essential.
  • Proven history of developing and implementing successful digital marketing operations and strategies that have driven measurable business impact.
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and best practices, including website management, SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, testing & optimization strategies, and analytics tools.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, CMS Systems, and web analytics tools.
  • Experience of managing multiple digital marketing projects concurrently, delivering on time and to successful completion.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

This is the anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Brisbane, California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

$152,000 - $190,000 USD
