Senior Product Analyst II

We are looking for a data-driven and strategic thinker to join our team as a Senior Product Analyst II within Careem Ads. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the success of our advertising products by leveraging data insights to improve campaign outcomes, enhance advertiser ROI, and elevate the user experience. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards, designing experiments, and partnering closely with product and commercial teams to optimize monetization performance.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with Product and Commercial teams to evaluate pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPD), using performance data and market benchmarks to drive pricing strategy and packaging decisions.

Conduct in-depth segmentation and elasticity analyses to identify monetization thresholds and refine ad package offerings that balance revenue growth with user satisfaction.

Lead end-to-end analysis of campaign performance across various verticals within the Careem Super App, including Mobility, Food, Groceries, and Pay, identifying key drivers of performance and areas for improvement.

Proactively recommend enhancements to ad placements, targeting logic, and creative strategies based on user engagement and advertiser goals.

Design, run, and interpret A/B and multivariate tests for new ad formats, placements, and bidding algorithms, ensuring experiments are statistically sound and actionable.

Collaborate during product discovery phases to validate hypotheses, define success metrics, and ensure analytical rigor in decision-making.

Provide analytical support to the commercial and partnerships team by developing pre- and post-campaign reports, showcasing advertiser performance, and highlighting upsell opportunities based on benchmark comparisons.

Work with Business Intelligence to maintain and enhance advertiser-facing dashboards and tools, ensuring access to reliable, real-time KPIs.

Build automated reporting frameworks and alerting mechanisms to ensure stakeholders are continuously informed of campaign performance and any anomalies.

Actively represent the analytics function in Ads squad ceremonies and cross-functional planning discussions, influencing decisions with compelling data narratives.
What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics).

4–6 years of experience in analytics or product-related roles, preferably in tech, media, or advertising.

Strong command of SQL and experience working with large datasets.

Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.

Deep understanding of advertising metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, impressions, reach).

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with changing priorities.
