About the Role

The Onboarding Manager will be responsible for managing the complete onboarding journey of new restaurant partners on the Careem platform. This includes ensuring seamless profile creation, menu setup, and partner training while driving efficiency, quality, and scalability through vendor management. The role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a smooth onboarding experience and support market expansion initiatives.
 

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new restaurant partners, including profile setup, menu configuration, and partner enablement training.
  • Lead and manage the onboarding team across markets, driving performance, accountability, and continuous development
  • Manage vendor performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and agent productivity targets.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of onboarding processes and to contribute feedback for continuous product and process improvements.
  • Act as a central point of contact for restaurant partners during onboarding, ensuring a positive partner experience.
  • Support market expansion and new regional launches by ensuring onboarding readiness and timely enablement of restaurant partners.
  • Identify process gaps, propose solutions, and drive initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Track and report on onboarding KPIs, ensuring visibility to leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience in operations, partner onboarding, vendor management, or project management, preferably in food delivery, e-commerce, or technology industries.
  • Proven people leadership experience with the ability to manage and coach teams.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and process improvement mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and training skills to effectively enable restaurant partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to new challenges.
