Implementation Analyst

As an Implementation Analyst, you’ll serve as a critical liaison between client stakeholders and technical teams, providing strategic business process expertise to support software implementation projects. This role ensures that business needs are clearly understood, communicated, and incorporated into design decisions, empowering clients and system developers to achieve successful outcomes.
This position exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance, particularly related to interpreting client requirements, shaping implementation strategies, and guiding internal project alignment.
This involves:
- Working losely with clients to build strong relationships and deeply understand their requirements
- Leading discovery sessions with clients to validate operational requirements and business goals
- Translating client needs into business terms for internal teams, helping to inform solution design and configuration decisions
- Acting as the primary subject matter expert on client business processes within assigned implementation projects
- Advising on potential trade-offs or configuration options based on an understanding of operational impacts
- Collaborating with and advising Project Managers, System Analysts, and Software Engineers to ensure that proposed solutions meet real-world needs.
- Identifying process improvements and advocating for scalable, sustainable practices that enhance the client experience
- Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) by advising on test scenarios relevant to the business use case, without conducting technical testing
- Participating in the development of client training materials and knowledge transfer documentation
- Collaborating with clients and technical teams to define data migration needs, map legacy data to new system fields, and validate converted data for accuracy and alignment with business processes
- This role regularly requires independent decision-making regarding implementation strategy, configuration trade-offs, and process design, without the need for supervisory approval on routine matters
- The position requires the analyst to evaluate multiple possible courses of action, balance client objectives against system limitations, and recommend best-fit approaches
- Decisions and recommendations made by the Implementation Analyst directly influence the success of client programs, regulatory compliance, and long-term system adoption

- Analytical Skills: Ability to translate client requirements into actionable development stories.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both clients and internal teams, including executives.

Position Type: Full time employment
Travel: 5 - 15% national travel; subject to change depending on business needs.
Salary: Beginning salary is within the range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year. Opportunity to advance quickly for the right candidate. Salary is commensurate with relevant experience.
