YOUR ROLE

The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving brand awareness and engagement within designated territories. This role involves collaborating with school partners and local communities to promote Kokua’s mission and services. This is a remote opportunity, and some travel will be required.

WHAT YOU DO EACH DAY

  • Plan and execute regional events, including conferences and workshops to drive brand awareness and generate leads
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as booth setup, vendor management, and promotional materials
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals.
  • Support regional sales through localized marketing campaigns, promotions, and tailored content that align with regional goals.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing to execute region-specific email and ad campaigns.
  • Track and report on marketing activities, engagement metrics, and campaign performance using Hubspot.
  • Conduct regional market research to monitor competitor activities, trends, and new event opportunities.
  • Travel as needed, approximately 50-60%, to attend conferences, workshops, and client meetings.

  • Marketing Capabilities - Demonstrates a strong understanding of marketing principles, including brand awareness, campaign development, and audience engagement. Proficient in digital marketing strategies and content creation to promote Kokua’s value to potential school partners.
  • Customer Focus - Committed to understanding and meeting the needs of school partners. Builds trust and respect through effective communication and seeks solutions that enhance partner relationships. Maintains professionalism and warmth, even under pressure.
  • Creative Problem-Solving - Ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and strategies that address the unique challenges faced by schools. Adapts quickly to feedback and is open to exploring new approaches to reach target audiences.
