Career TEAM is looking to hire a Program Director who is responsible for managing and supervising staff and overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the Employment and Training Services contract including program performance and goals, quality of service, contractual commitments, and program vision. In this role, the individual will utilize a working knowledge of Employment and Training, Workforce Development, and TANF protocols, which include a basic understanding of the field, core programs, and business plans. As a leader and member of the Corporate Management Team, the Program Director is accountable for ensuring quality and integrity across Employment and Training functions. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

- Provide strategic, fiscal and operational leadership to all direct reports

- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, including the adherence to policies and procedures and program monitoring
- Focus on expenditure rates ensuring on-track performance without disallowed costs, driving metrics, and performance, providing support and coaching to staff, and creating service delivery plans
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of policies and procedures for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
- Partner with the local development Workforce Board to ensure local area needs are met, support growth, and build community awareness of the TANF program and partner services
- Serve as the primary local contact and contract liaison with funder and other agencies
- Lead a team of high-functioning employees to execute the program initiatives while supporting employee growth in becoming highly trained workforce development professionals
- Develop and implement strategies to incorporate a focus on performance objectives in the daily operations of organizational staff
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of policies and procedures and a quality management model for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
- Hire, train, and develop staff ensuring appropriate application learning process
- Ensure accurate and thorough completion of required documentation and reports within the data management system
- Approach each day and task with a “ZAG” mindset

To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, or community organization or development
- Experience in a leadership role in an adult learning, workforce development, career training, employment placement, or other related employment services field
- 5+ years of experience in operations, business, marketing, public relations, education, and/or human and/or workforce development services
- Strong ability to utilize strategic planning skills
- Understanding of technical support underlying issues related to customer problems and taking action to prevent future occurrences
- Knowledgeable about TANF programs and other workforce program requirements
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to lead a team with different working styles
- A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient in maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel), PowerPoint, training platforms, and case management or customer relations software applications
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Training in Trauma Informed Care, evidence-based practice, and/or whole family services
- Knowledgeable about the local region and relevant partners
- Astounding ability to multitask and be proactive
- A Valid Driver’s License
Salary: $80,000 - 92,000/year
Travel: The position may require local travel up to 15-20% of the time
