Career TEAM is seeking a dynamic and passionate Facilitator to join our North Bay Area team! The Facilitator will play a vital role in delivering impactful instruction and support services to participants enrolled in WIOA programs, helping individuals overcome barriers and achieve their career goals. The Facilitator will plan, coordinate, and lead engaging workshops, provide tutorial support, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our instructional programs. This role is 100% onsite.

Your Impact on Career TEAM’s Success:
- Coordinate, facilitate, and create workshops and presentations that promote workforce services, job search tools/resources, and job retention skills, both in-person and virtually
- Coordinate workshop schedules and invite relevant partners to present based on participant needs at partner agencies throughout the county
- Learn and present Career EDGE platform lessons and resources to the community and partners.
- Represent Career TEAM at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to expand awareness of workforce services and partner programs
- Engage clients by discussing available services and their potential benefits
- Serve as a client advocate, providing direction and support by creating and monitoring processes that ensure client success in the learning environment
- Critique resumes and other job search tools to assist customers in obtaining employment.
- Track and monitor orientation and workshop participation, attendance, and conversion to enrollment
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and services provided, assisting clients with program registrations and basic intake requirements for eligibility
- Administer and proctor basic skills and career assessments (both online and in-person).
- Triage customer needs to ensure exceptional customer service
- Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset, focusing on creative problem-solving and innovative approaches
- Perform other duties and projects as needed
To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, social services, counseling, business administration, or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in workforce development-related case management services with a professional certification
- Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those similar to the areas served, demonstrating an understanding of their unique circumstances and needs
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with individuals from various backgrounds and provide effective guidance
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-thought-out decisions and offer creative solutions to complex challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trusting relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues
- Effective communication, listening, and coaching skills to support client development and success.
- Multilingual proficiency preferred, with Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred to better serve a diverse clientele
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools for reporting, communication, and data management
- Ability to submit accurate written forms and reports in a timely manner
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000/yr
Travel: Position may require local travel up to 10% of the time
