Business Account Liaison - AOC

Career Team is seeking a Business Account Liaison to join our team in North Central Texas. This role will focus on delivering specialized support to employers, with a strong emphasis on small to medium-sized businesses. This position is responsible for cultivating and maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial employer partnerships that drive increased engagement with available workforce programs, services, and resources. The Business Account Liaison will report directly to the Business Services Manager.

- Implement creative recruiting processes and initiatives for employer engagement and relationship building
- Implement creative recruiting initiatives and tailored workforce solutions that address specific employer needs and support talent development
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate in-person and virtual recruiting and hiring events across industries in partnership with community stakeholders
- Promote and expand employer utilization of work-based learning initiatives such as registered apprenticeships, internships, customized training, and on-the-job training (OJT)
- Deliver workshops to employers on industry trends, talent acquisition and retention strategies, quality job principles, and labor market insights
- Conduct employer needs assessments and surveys, provide analysis, and develop action plans to address identified challenges
- Assist employers in creating job descriptions, analyzing labor market data, and facilitating compensation studies to ensure competitive hiring practices
- Support the implementation of new business service offerings and workforce initiatives in collaboration with employers and program partners
- Negotiate and develop agreements for transitional and permanent job opportunities, including OJT, subsidized employment, and work experience placements
- Collaborate daily with workforce center staff and Business Outreach Specialists to ensure timely and coordinated service delivery
- Create and maintain seamless communication channels with internal teams to track employer relationships and share relevant business intelligence
- Accurately enter and manage employer data in state and local systems of record (WIT and CRM) and generate contextualized reports as needed
- Monitor, track, and report on job placements, employer engagement activities, and participant progress in employment and training programs
- Promote Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas by participating in events, sharing key initiatives, and strengthening brand awareness throughout the business community
- Meet or exceed established performance benchmarks on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support program success and employer satisfaction

The Ideal Qualifications for this Position Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field or previous experience in business consulting, workforce development, or a similar role
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in sales, marketing, human resources, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in managing employer or vendor relationships and delivering client-focused solutions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools is preferred
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze data to inform strategic decision-making
- Knowledge of workforce development programs, employer engagement strategies, and labor market trends is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation with proof of liability insurance
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving business needs and priorities.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000/yr
Travel: 50% travel within the region
