Career Team is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team, who is responsible for financial quality assurance and approval of participant expenses, payment, and reimbursement activities across multiple projects and grants. The primary responsibilities for this role will focus on analysis and review of WIOA and TANF payment requests for program compliance, accuracy, and completeness of submission. The ideal candidate must have the ability to interact with co-workers across all locations and, in some cases, compliance and audit professionals at Customer workforce boards. An ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. The Quality Assurance Associate must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. This position reports directly to the Director of Quality Assurance.

Your Impact on Career TEAM’s Success:
- Ensure expense submissions from various Career Advisors are in compliance with Federal WIOA, local, State, and corporate policies
- Manage funds from grants to ensure records are maintained to keep the grant in budget with no disallowed costs
- Work closely with project associates and Executive Directors across projects in the United States, as well as the Workforce Board, to provide financial compliance guidance and insight, and participant reporting on assigned projects – this is a highly visible position
- Ensure participant expenditures are entered and processed in a timely and economic manner in accordance with established policies, budgets within WIOA guidelines
- Coordinate accounting activities for assigned projects, which include the establishment and monitoring of procedures and policies by contract
- Manage and monitor project participant financials and update reimbursement status for various project grants to ensure grants are fiscally managed
- Support teams across the nation with monthly project Invoices and supporting documentation, and associated Quality review;
- Ability to complete written forms and reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Support team(s) with audit deliverables and program audit requests
- Provide Administrative Support to teams and programs
- Supports growth and program development
- Approach each day and task with a “Zag” mindset
- Other duties and projects as needed
The Ideal Qualifications for this Position Include:
- Associate degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of accounting experience and knowledge of WIOA contracts/programs preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets - experience a plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment - must have excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work across all levels of management and staff;
- Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills’
- Exceptional time Management skills, ability to meet accounting month-end deadlines, extraordinary ability to multitask, be proactive, and demonstrate an ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure, including the ability to perform and complete a high volume of work assignments with speed and accuracy, work cooperatively with others, and show courteousness and a high level of professionalism
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, handle personnel matters effectively, and handle employee and personnel inquiries with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy
- A Valid Driver's License
Salary: $55,000-$65,000/ yr
