About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for an Operations Engineer to bridge the gap between our engineering, sales, and support teams. This is a highly cross-functional role that provides critical support to internal teams and end customers. You’ll play a key role in scaling IT, managing sensitive integrations like SFTP, and serving as the go-to technical expert for frontline support and pre-sales inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- IT & Infrastructure Oversight
- Lead and optimize internal IT systems, SaaS tools, access control, and endpoint security
- Manage technical onboarding/offboarding processes and internal system availability
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Sales Engineering, Customer, and Internal Support
- Partner with Sales to answer technical product questions during the sales cycle
- Assist in RFPs and compliance reviews with prospects
- Serve as an escalation point for technical issues from Customer Success and Support teams
- Identify process inefficiencies and lead efforts to streamline operations through automation or tooling
- Manager tech set-up of new hires and ongoing tech support for internal employees as needed
- SFTP & Data Exchange Handling
- Manage secure SFTP workflows and monitor data exchange pipelines with external partners (e.g., billing, EMR, pharmacy systems)
- Ensure PHI and sensitive data handling aligns with HIPAA and internal policies
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in technical operations, systems engineering, DevOps, or related fields
- Strong working knowledge of SaaS infrastructure, APIs, secure file transfers (SFTP), and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Familiarity with health tech environments and HIPAA/data privacy requirements a strong plus
- Experience collaborating across engineering, sales, support, and compliance teams
- Comfortable in a startup environment—proactive, adaptable, and hands-on
