
Truckload Solutions Specialist
Cargomatic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Carrier Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Carrier Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all pricing requests for our customers and ensuring competitive pricing, rate cards, and RFPs.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer pricing requests across all trucking modes (FTL, LTL, short-haul, drayage, OTR, long-haul, etc.)
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers to support pricing strategy and profitability ● Maintain and update pricing templates, rate cards, and RFP submissions Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and carrier partners Analyze data using tools like Excel and Google Sheets to support pricing decisions and identify trends
- Understand market dynamics in drayage and broader truckload markets to make informed, real-time pricing decisions
- Prepare customer-specific pricing proposals and reports
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Stay current on industry trends, seasonal impacts, and regional pricing fluctuations Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered ● Previous experience in freight brokerage, trucking, or carrier sales, with a strong focus on pricing and rate negotiation
- In-depth understanding of various truckload segments (drayage, FTL, LTL, OTR, etc.) ● Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with carriers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple pricing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment ● Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technology-driven environment
The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education,
and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
