Job Summary:
As the Enterprise Operations Manager – at Cargomatic, you will lead the day-to-day execution, optimization, and performance management of one of our most strategic accounts. This hybrid role blends operations execution, carrier management, performance reporting, and customer-facing account ownership with a focus on service levels, on-time delivery, and operational scalability. You will act as the point of contact for Enterprise’s regional logistics network and work cross-functionally with internal teams including Carrier Ops, Customer Support, Technology, and Finance.
This is a high-visibility role, ideal for a hands-on, data-driven operator who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the execution and performance management of Enterprise’s intermodal and drayage operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational matters related to Enterprise’s account
- Monitor and report on service levels, on-time delivery, capacity fulfillment, and exception management
- Lead daily and weekly performance reviews with internal stakeholders and Enterprise representatives
- Partner with Carrier Sales to secure and maintain reliable capacity for critical lanes
- Identify process gaps or inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to improve service consistency and scalability
- Ensure compliance with Enterprise’s operational requirements, documentation standards, and KPI targets
- Work closely with the Pricing and Sales Ops teams to submit and manage volume forecasts, bids, and rate cards
- Collaborate with Tech and Product teams to drive automation and improve platform performance specific to Enterprise’s operational needs
- Support invoicing and billing resolution by coordinating between Enterprise, internal billing, and support teams
- Maintain up-to-date SOPs and real-time updates in Cargomatic’s internal Command system
- Travel periodically to visit Enterprise fulfillment centers or regional logistics hubs
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics account management, or supply chain execution
- Prior experience working with Enterprise (e.g., FBA, AFN, DDF, Enterprise Freight) is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of drayage, intermodal, LTL/FTL, and port logistics
- Exceptional analytical skills and comfort working with performance data, dashboards, and KPIs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Experience with TMS platforms, EDI/API workflows, and transportation scheduling systems
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with changing priorities
- Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tool experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
