The Role: 

Carrot is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our Mid-Market sales team. We’re looking for an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong understanding of small to mid-sized business dynamics, and excels in building relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage a Robust Sales Pipeline: Proactively identify and engage potential clients, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities to close deals and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Build Trust and Relationships: Act as a consultative partner to MM clients, understanding their unique challenges and offering tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
  • Conduct Effective Discovery and Demonstrations: Become an expert on Carrot's product, leading discovery calls, delivering customized demos, and presenting compelling proposals to prospective customers.
  • Articulate Value Clearly: Communicate Carrot’s unique value proposition effectively, ensuring that prospects understand the strengths and benefits of our offerings.
  • Collaborate and Forecast: Work closely with team members to strategize on sales approaches and accurately forecast revenue.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Consistently hit and exceed annual revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.

The Team: 

This role will be a part of our Mid-Market Employer Sales team. They will work closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and more to close new business.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling into mid to large enterprises
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently
  • Experience working with consulting firms that support employers' evaluations of new benefits
  • Outstanding communication (interpersonal and presentation) and closing skills
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce specifically)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling employer health benefits to small and mid-sized businesses (up to 1,000 lives), with a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
  • Fluency in navigating complex benefits topics, including cost savings, compliance, and employee engagement, to effectively address client concerns and drive informed decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with consulting firms that assist MM in evaluating and implementing new benefits solutions, ensuring a seamless integration of services.
  • A genuine passion for Carrot’s mission to provide equitable fertility care for all, coupled with a commitment to advocating for accessible benefits that meet the diverse needs of employees.

 

Compensation: 

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 for an Account Executive and $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 for a Sr. Account Executive. Actual compensation may vary from the posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
