The Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for the activation and growth of our strategic partner channels. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, this role will drive both the enablement and commercial growth of our partner ecosystem, ensuring every relationship is effectively activated, supported, and optimized for measurable business impact.

You’ll be a critical piece of the commercial team responsible for bringing Carrot’s partners to life, including onboarding, enablement, joint go-to-market execution, and helping partners market, sell, and deliver Carrot’s solutions. The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-driven, and motivated by growth — able to balance detailed execution with a commercial mindset. You’re comfortable in the market, spearheading relationships that drive revenue outcomes while maintaining strong internal organization, collaboration, and alignment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Activation: Develop and execute partner activation programs that drive lead generation, pipeline progression, and revenue through reseller, health plan, and referral partnerships.
  • Partner Enablement: Operationalize playbooks and training to accelerate partner readiness and effectiveness in positioning Carrot to their client bases.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as day-to-day contact for key partners, leading joint pipeline reviews, quarterly business reviews, marketing efforts, and other growth initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Consultant Relations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations to implement scalable go-to-market programs and processes that improve partner engagement and outcomes.
  • Performance Tracking: Define and track KPIs associated with partner-influenced revenue, lead generation, joint customer performance, and overall partnership satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline activation workflows and improve partner experience.
  • Market Engagement: Represent Carrot in partner-facing meetings, trainings, and events to strengthen collaboration and drive adoption.

 

The Team: 

You will be joining the Partnerships team that sits under the Commercial Organization and will work alongside other partner activation managers.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of sales, partnerships, or consulting experience, preferably in healthcare/healthtech or employee benefits
  • Consistent over achievement in quota and revenue goals
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
  • Ability for domestic travel as needed, minimally once per quarter

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience supporting reseller, referral, or health plan partnerships with employer benefit platforms, health plans, and/or PEOs
  • Comfort navigating fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent Salesforce, Excel and Powerpoint skills

 

Compensation: 

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $189,000-$236,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
