• In this role, you'll be working on the Capdesk from Carta platform. You’ll contribute to building new features, improve existing code and will be collaborating with a team of highly driven and motivated individuals on a daily basis.  
• You’ll be directly contributing to our efforts on winning both UK and EU mid-market customers.
• The role is intended to be Full Stack, with a small inclination for the backend side of things. You’ll be working mostly on the backend, with occasional dips on the frontend when needed (or based on interest!)
• You’ll also be collaborating with product designers and product managers on a daily basis.

About You

We're looking for engineers with experience delivering value. You've contributed to important features put into production and want to keep shipping more. • We want engineers to be autonomous, able to wrap their head around complex problems and curious to dig into the world of fintech.
• We want individuals that like to ship iteratively and consistently improve the code, leaving it better than it was when you first read it - as well as having a strong sense of ownership and taking pride in the quality of the final product. 
• We expect engineers to be able to break down a complex problem into a solution that provides a rich user experience and implement solutions in a scalable future-proof way.

• You have experience working as a full stack engineer. Experience with Django, Python, Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Our frontend infrastructure is composed of three micro-frontend applications. Most of the code is written in React/TypeScript.
• You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• You have strong technical skills and are an excellent collaborator.
• You have experience writing design proposals, documenting solutions, and presenting ideas for feedback. You’re comfortable refining solutions collaboratively and driving them to execution.
• You implement systems that are clear, maintainable, and correct. 
• You are excited by opportunities to both break ground on new projects and provide fresh perspective onto past implementations.
• You identify challenges your team faces, propose solutions, and take ownership of delivering impactful outcomes.
• You are eager to move fast, but recognize when to build for the future.
• You have good communication skills in English.
