
Full Stack Engineer, Healthcare

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale our innovative healthcare technology platform, focused on care transitions and improving patient outcomes. You will collaborate closely with product management, AI engineers, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications that integrate with critical healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of our healthcare platform, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Healthcare Data Integration: Build robust APIs and data integrations with EMR/EHR systems using healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, AI Engineers, and clinical stakeholders to understand requirements, ensuring the product meets clinical and regulatory standards.
- Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices and adhere to healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly engage in code reviews, application optimization, and performance tuning.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Python, Node.js).
- Healthcare Experience: At least 2 years in healthcare tech, particularly working with EMR/EHR integrations or clinical data management.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), databases(SQL/NoSQL), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and data security best practices, including HIPAA.
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical challenges and solutions, collaborating effectively with non-technical teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, or a related technical field required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred — or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have:
- Experience building AI-integrated healthcare applications.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and CI/CD processes preferred.

The base salary range for this role is: $160,000-180,000
