Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager
Job Summary:
This role will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax compliance / reporting, and general ledger. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all accounting functions in accordance with industry standards. A key part of this position will be to create, improve, streamline, and maintain our financial systems and processes in order to drive scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations, including month-end close, financial statements, and regulatory compliance in accordance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with Director of FP&A to ensure accurate financial reporting and data collection
- Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Responsible for and directly manage invoicing, collections, and OTC applications
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
- Responsible for recording and executing commission payments
- Work with the Director of FP&A to prepare budget forecasts and financial analysis to support business decisions
- Work with Sales and Marketing leaders for purposes of SaaS calculations - CAC, LTV, etc.
- Oversee cash flow and banking relationships
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professional
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience
- CPA license a plus
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounting principals and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with various accounting software and ERP systems
- Experience with various billing systems
- Professional experience and proficiency using Netsuite
- Experience with Maxio a plus
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication abilities and attention to detail
Where:
Case Status is based in Daniel Island in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate is local and available for onsite schedules. Remote option available for the right candidate.
