Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager


Job Summary: 
This role will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax compliance / reporting, and general ledger. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all accounting functions in accordance with industry standards. A key part of this position will be to create, improve, streamline, and maintain our financial systems and processes in order to drive scalability. 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute full-cycle accounting operations, including month-end close, financial statements, and regulatory compliance in accordance with GAAP standards
  • Collaborate with Director of FP&A to ensure accurate financial reporting and data collection
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Responsible for and directly manage invoicing, collections, and OTC applications
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
  • Responsible for recording and executing commission payments
  • Work with the Director of FP&A to prepare budget forecasts and financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Work with Sales and Marketing leaders for purposes of SaaS calculations - CAC, LTV, etc.
  • Oversee cash flow and banking relationships
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professional
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience
  • CPA license a plus
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principals and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with various accounting software and ERP systems
  • Experience with various billing systems
  • Professional experience and proficiency using Netsuite
  • Experience with Maxio a plus
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong communication abilities and attention to detail

 

Where:

Case Status is based in Daniel Island in Charleston, SC.  The ideal candidate is local and available for onsite schedules. Remote option available for the right candidate.
