Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

Reports to: Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary: 

The Full Stack Software Engineer at Case Status will play a pivotal role in implementing innovative features, leveraging Python (Flask, Sqlalchemy, Redis, Celery) on the backend and building cutting-edge frontend components using Next.js/React/TypeScript, while also maintaining our existing Ember.js frontend. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment and wants to make a tangible impact on how law firms engage with their clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write reusable and testable code
  • Develop and launch impactful product features
  • Ensure the stability and performance of our applications
  • Actively participate in bi-weekly agile sprints
  • Maintain adequate story points
  • Contribute positively to our team culture

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years' professional experience in Javascript and/or Typescript
  • 3+ years' professional experience with modern Javascript Framework
  • 3+ years' professional experience with modern Python Web Framework

 

Preferred Skills & Experience with the following: 

  • NextJs / React / Typescript
  • Ember.js
  • Flask
  • Sqlalchemy & Postgres
  • Redis

 

Location: 

Case Status is located in Charleston, SC.  Qualified candidates that are local will receive precedence, though it is not a requirement for this position. As a remote employee, you may be required to work from the office once per quarter and will also be required to attend our company offsite events in January and July.
