Purpose of Position

The Sourcing Director at CASETiFY will lead the sourcing strategy and team to ensure a reliable supply chain, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement. This role is crucial for building strong supplier relationships and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

 

Job Description

  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sourcing team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Supplier Network: Develop and expand the supplier network, fostering strong relationships to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain.
  • Supplier Management: Improve supplier management practices and implement a comprehensive scorecard system to evaluate supplier performance.
  • Selection and Onboarding: Enhance the supplier selection and onboarding process through benchmarking best practices to ensure optimal partnerships.
  • Innovation Partnership: Collaborate with suppliers to identify and deliver innovative product solutions that align with market trends and consumer demands.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on sourcing activities, savings achieved, and overall supplier performance to senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company policies and ethical standards.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis for new product developments (NPDs), including Cost of Goods Analysis (COGs) and headwinds analysis (e.g., exchange rate impacts on sourcing costs and raw material costs).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product,  Supply Chain, NPD,  Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure accurate and timely cost analysis.

 

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sourcing and supplier management.
  • Proficient in sourcing tools, data analysis, and supplier management software.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
