Job Description
Retail Strategies
- Develop and execute a comprehensive retail expansion strategy for Korea, encompassing the physical offline stores and pop-up stores, to achieve ambitious growth targets and market leadership.
- Identify and evaluate new retail opportunities to expand the reach and customer engagement.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis, including competitive benchmarking and customer insights, to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable strategies to optimize sales, profitability, and operational efficiency across all retail channels.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including global retail, HR, marketing, marketplace, etc. to ensure alignment and maximize overall business performance.
Store Development
- Lead the identification and evaluation of potential new store locations, considering factors such as market demographics, foot traffic, competition, and brand positioning of CASETiFY in Korea.
- Oversee and deal with the key stakeholders like global retail team, landlords for the site selection, negotiations, store design, and construction processes for new stores, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Collaborate with external partners, including real estate developers, contractors, to ensure successful store openings and ongoing maintenance.
Store Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of all retail stores in Korea, ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to store managers and staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement training programs and performance management initiatives to enhance employee skills, motivation, and customer-centric approach.
- Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple stores or regions.
- Proven track record of success in driving retail sales growth, optimizing store operations, and achieving business objectives.
- Strong understanding of the Korean retail market, including customer trends, competitive landscape, and retail best practices.
- Passion for lifestyle, fashion, tech acc brands, travel categories with a deep understanding of Casetify's brand identity and target audience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to retail management.
- Proficient in project management, planning, and execution, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Energetic, results-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English and Korean is required.
