Talent Acquisition Specialist (Japan)

As a TA Specialist specializing in store talent acquisition, your mission is to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, optimize the hiring process, and acquire top talent to drive the success of our retail stores.

Job Description

  • Perform end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, scheduling, offer negotiation and closure (Focus on Retail Staff Recruitment)
  • Develop and deliver consistent and standardized recruitment processes and the right channel to select the best talents for the company
  • Searches for qualified candidates, using networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms and employee referrals. 
  • Partner with hiring managers/Store Managers to understand their business objectives and hiring needs.
  • Keep close communication and guide candidates from process stage to on-boarding
  • Maintain and manage sourcing channels (Job portals, internal referrals, vendors etc)
  • Align with headquarter recruiting for employer branding and develop employer branding strategy & activities.
  • Engage in creative talent mapping efforts for the purposes of building our candidate pipeline as well as to provide market intelligence to the business
  • Work on recruitment projects and training to improve the standard for hiring within the organization
  • Ensure participation in external recruiting events and identify new partnerships with campuses to build and maintain close relationships with our target campuses.
  • Analyze recruitment data and propose improvement measures.
  • Support the execution of HR initiatives and implementation of HR programs
  • Any other assigned HR/GA support/regional HR project duties      

Requirement

  • 3-5 years of relevant recruitment experience, including internal or external (agency) roles, preferably with a background in retail, digital & e-commerce, and regional exposure.
  • Be familiar with the multicultural working environment
  • Possess of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of responsibilities and able to meet deadlines and multi-tasks
  • Be able to communicate with people at all levels of the organization and cope with a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint/AI/Google 
  • Self-motivated, highly adaptable in a constantly evolving working environment
  • Must have good written and communication skills in English and Japanese
