- The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in supporting the overall HR strategy and operational excellence within the organization. This hybrid role acts as a strategic partner to assigned business units, providing comprehensive HR support, while also taking a lead in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and foster a culture of continuous growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for both people and organizational development.
Job Description
- Strategic Partnership:
- As a proactive, commercial and results-driven HRBP, deliver an exceptional people agenda, resolve and advise on HR issues implementing best HR practice consistent with the company policy and with the strategy of the business
- Collaborate closely with assigned business unit leaders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and talent needs.
- Change Management:
- Support leadership transitions or structural shifts within the Retail organization, ensuring alignment with CASETiFY’s values and employee engagement.
- Proactively manage communications and implementation of any people-related changes affecting the stores.
- Talent Management & Development:
- Lead recruitment planning and coordination for store-level and retail office roles in collaboration with the TA Specialist.
- Own the onboarding, career development, and retention strategy for all Japan retail staff, ensuring consistency and scalability across regions.
- Collaborate with Store Managers and Area Managers to identify high-potential talent and develop clear succession pipelines.
- Culture & Engagement: Champion our company culture and contribute to creating an inclusive and engaging work environment for all employees.
- Ad-hoc:
- Lead defined projects as required
- Support budget management processes, coordination and reporting
Requirement
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources in Retail Industry, with a significant portion of that experience in an HR Business Partner role and demonstrable experience in Recruitment and Learning & Development.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the company
- A data-driven approach with proven experience applying metrics to implement change in the business
- An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
- Leadership ability
- A highly responsive and service-oriented approach with strong organizational and follow-up skills
- An ability to connect well with employees, with a high degree of empathy while being able to maintain a strong business orientation
- English and Japanese business proficiency (mainly written) is required
