Purpose of Position

- This person works closely with HR business managers, hiring managers, and the retail team to design and refine talent acquisition strategies, proactively source candidates through diverse channels, and elevate employer branding to attract top retail talent. This role drives end-to-end HR initiatives—including direct recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee engagement—while ensuring a positive hiring journey and an inclusive, high-performing culture that supports business growth and an exceptional customer experience.
Job Description
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for store staff, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Proactively build strong talent pipelines through direct sourcing methods such as social media outreach, career fairs, employee referrals, and community networking to attract top retail talent.
- Manage all onboarding activities: prepare employment contracts, coordinate pre-hire documents, deliver new-hire orientation, and ensure smooth integration into store operations.
- Retail Workforce Management
- Partner with the HR manager and the retail team on staffing plans, scheduling needs, and headcount.
- Monitor and address employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate HRIS and personnel records, including time and attendance data for retail staff.
- Collaborate with a C&B specialist to ensure timely and correct salary processing.
- Implement HR policies and procedures aligned with global and local regulations.
- Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and high-performing retail culture.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion programs across store teams.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years’ HR experience, including at least 1 year in a retail or consumer-facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of local employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence decisions.
