Digital Commerce Products Director - Shenzhen

Purpose of Position
- The Digital Commerce Products Director will need to be a visionary and creative thinker who will manage and be responsible for the delivery and execution as well as introduce new innovative solutions to cope with the business needs. The incumbent will collaborate with business development, compliance, and technology teams as well as directly engage with different parties to research and advance innovative product solutions from concept to development.
- This will require both in-depth end user knowledge and familiarity with Digital asset custody, as well as a deep appreciation and understanding of the next generation technologies and foundational steps of digital initiatives.
Job Description
- Deliver best-in-class e-commerce and omnichannel experience while increasing our speed on experiments and execution.
- Oversee all in-house and third-party software systems from e-commerce to production to all growth initiatives.
- This is not a day-to-day hands-on development role but we expect the incumbent to be highly technical, e.g., system architecture, code review, and debugging live systems.
- Liaise with all business units to ensure all system requirements are captured and all technical blockages are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Establish and enforce best engineering practices to ensure quality codebase, smooth scaling, site reliability, and system security.
- Build, mentor, and lead a top-performing engineering team: leading by examples and continuous improvement on the team’s soft and hard skills.
- Take ownership of the vision/strategies of software product while formulating business models backed by analysis of competitive landscape including but not limited to ERP system, NFT projects, Product feeds management system, Business Intelligence, Data automations, Influencer management system (IRM), Marketing automation system, Custom apps, etc.
- Define product roadmap, drive backlog prioritization and implementation.
- Initiate and drive product enhancement strategies to improve customer experience based on user feedback and requirements.
- Strong knowledge of digital custodian technologies and the pro/cons associated with them to ensure the product meets the highest security standards.
- Generates and validates new product ideas based on market research and engagement with Technology , Business teams and clients as appropriate.
- Elevate Casetify’s employer branding to attract digital talents.
Requirements
- Hands-on engineering leadership.
- Led team responsible for large scale eCommerce business over hundred millions of US dollars.
- Excellent stakeholder management with strong product mindset and business acumen.
- Successfully delivered business result with a mix of in-house team and external agencies.
- Built and led engineering team from scratch.
- Known for promoting best practices at work.
- At least 5 years of working experience in engineering leadership/ product management role with a proven track record of managing end to end software product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation.
- Experience in building and driving innovative products, including management, from ideation through to design and development.
- Excellent presentation, communications and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, with experience in fintech or fast-paced corporate environments a plus.
- Have a good experience in working across business units in the course of the product roadmap and gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team.
- Solid experience in developing product roadmap and associated backlogs.
- Previous experience for B2B software products or E-commerce is a plus.
- Happy to work in a buzzing multicultural environment.
- Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English.
