Accountant

Purpose of Position:

CASETiFY is one of the leading global lifestyle brands offering customizable tech accessories. As we continue to grow our presence in Korea, we are looking for an Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations. Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, this role will focus on core accounting activities including retail settlement, inventory accounting, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description: 

Financial Accounting & Month-end Closing

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to HQ
• Handle daily accounting operations, including AR/AP processing and bank reconciliations
• Prepare payment vouchers and supporting documents in compliance with internal policies
• Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and asset tracking

Treasury

• Monitor daily banking transactions and prepare weekly bank balance summaries with clear categorization of transaction types
• Prepare treasury-related journal entries and support their accurate reflection during month-end closing
• Review payment lists against supporting documents and submit for manager approval
• Review employee expense reports on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with internal policies and reconcile supporting receipts

Tax & Compliance

• Support preparation of VAT, CIT, and withholding tax filings in coordination with external tax advisors
• Ensure accounting records are maintained in compliance with Korean tax regulations and IFRS
• Assist in external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documents

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a multinational or retail environment
• Basic experience or exposure to VAT and corporate tax filings
• Native Korean speaker with good command of English
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong team player mindset
