Outcomes:
- Production ready Sep System assembly line by 2027
- Delivery of 1 sep system/week by june 2026
- All launchers completed on time for 2026 flight goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead day to day production and process optimization of bonded assemblies across all Castelion products.
- Develop process and factory design to transition from development to production rates of 1000s of units per year.
- Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, test procedures, safety standards, and mBOMs.
- Create, maintain and communicate detailed plans and schedules
- Work closely with supply chain to develop new and existing suppliers
- Design and validate tooling
- Participate in design reviews to drive design for manufacturing (DFM)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
- 2+ years of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or testing experience or heavy involvement in extra-curricular design teams at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience with Bonding using RTVs and Epoxies
- Experience with NX/Teamcenter CAD/PDM
- Hands on experience in vacuum bagging, materials and process development.
- Experience in transitioning development process to production
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
- Must be willing to travel up to 1 week/month.
