- Communicate schedule risks and delays to the Avionics Supervisor early.

- Serve as the first technical point of contact for harness technicians.

- Support wire preparation, crimping, soldering, connector assembly, shielding, splicing, routing, sleeving, labeling, and final assembly.

- Help technicians interpret drawings, wire lists, work instructions, specifications, and acceptance criteria.

- Verify technicians are working to the correct revision and released documentation.

- Coordinate with Quality for in-process and final inspections.

- Make sure inspection needs are communicated early so work is not waiting unnecessarily.

- Support continuity, insulation resistance, hipot, pull testing, and other required electrical testing.

- Support troubleshooting, rework, and disposition activity.

- Review complex harness work before closure when issues would be difficult to correct later.

- Support first article and first-build activities.

- Train and mentor technicians on harness workmanship and company processes.

- Identify recurring defects or process issues and work with Manufacturing Engineering on improvements.

- Support clean handoffs between technicians, shifts, Quality, and Engineering.

- Provide clear and accurate updates during daily stand-ups and production meetings.

- Maintain strong floor organization, safety, and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience building aerospace or high-reliability wire harnesses.

- Experience with crimping, soldering, shielding, splicing, connector assembly, and harness routing.

- Strong understanding of drawings, wire lists, work instructions, and process specifications.
