We provide the information they need to optimise athletes’ health, game-day readiness, and performance, as well as in-game tactics.  Our solutions include wearable technology, video analytics, and athlete monitoring solutions, and we are passionate about helping sports organisations at all levels to better scout, recruit, train, and win.

POSITION SUMMARY

Catapult is increasing the size of our Sales team in the APAC region. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for promoting and driving sales under the guidance of the Senior Business Development Manager - ANZ.

Using the resources and technology provided you will grow and expand the client base, strengthening the brand and drive revenue while adhering to the Catapult culture code and values. The successful candidate will be based in the Melbourne office.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Experience in business-to-business sales
  • Exceptional, proven sales track record in similar roles. SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise appropriately
  • Be self-motivated, with a positive attitude
  • Ability to perform quality, scientific presentations in the field of athletic performance
  • Keen interest in sport and technology.  If you have worked in a sporting club environment that is a plus.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Salesforce. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Prospecting and developing a pipeline across high schools, sporting teams and sporting academies.
  • Closing sales on the phone and through online demos.
  • Sell all products while working towards a set target. 
  • Identify and follow up new sales opportunities.  Identify markets for sales activity and develop strategies of how to penetrate those markets.
  • Efficiently gather market information to qualify each prospect’s buying intention and ability, to support negotiation on price, delivery and customer management.
  • Develop proposals and work with each organisation to progress the buying decision.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with customers to renew and upsell.
  • Manage accounts within the region and maintain and manage contacts within the Sales Force platform.
  • Accurately forecast monthly sales and achieve monthly targets.
  • Provide accurate feedback on future buying intentions of prospective clients.
  • Build confidence in prospective clients with your enthusiastic and knowledgeable manner.
  • Provide outstanding and effective service to customers.
