Purpose
We are looking for a Social Media Copywriter who is not only passionate about cars but also has a talent for crafting witty, on-point copy that engages and dynamizes conversation in our brand’s communities. As the voice of our brand, you will be responsible for keeping the conversation alive generating excitement, and ensuring our brand stays ahead of the curve on social media. You’ll be quick to respond, find opportunities to insert our brand into trending topics, and create punchy, engaging copy that captures attention.
We need someone who is independent, proactive, and has a natural flair for coming up with clever, real-time content ideas.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, witty, and brand-aligned copy that drives engagement and builds community across all the brand’s social media platforms.
- Dynamize our online communities by sparking meaningful conversations and responding to audience comments in real time.
- Stay on top of social media trends, automotive news, and popular culture to proactively find opportunities for real-time engagement.
- Generate proactive, creative ideas for social media content and campaigns, focusing on real-time interactions and insights from the community.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure messaging consistency across all platforms.
- React quickly to trending topics, ensuring our brand remains relevant and involved in the latest conversations.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience as a Social Media Copywriter or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
- Native-level English proficiency with exceptional writing and communication skills.
- A passion for cars and the automotive world is a must.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on trends quickly, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and audience behaviors.
- Excellent attention to detail and a knack for creative problem-solving.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to stay ahead of social media trends and conversations.
